For commissions, I like to start with a small chat about what you want. This helps us see if my style and skills match your idea. If we feel it is a good fit, I will share an approximate timeline for when I can start, work on, and finish your piece. Oil paintings take time and patience, and the timing also depends on the projects I already have.
The price will also depend on the size and theme of the piece, so I can only give a clear quote after we talk about your idea.
At the beginning, the only things we can fully decide together are the size and the general theme. If you are not sure what you want, I am always happy to give suggestions. I also enjoy staying in touch during the process—asking small preferences when needed, and sharing progress shots or little teasers to keep the excitement alive. We will build this piece together, so don’t worry. It will be a fun and meaningful journey for both of us.
After we agree on the details, we will have a simple commission agreement that explains what we decided and what we both promise to do, including the final price.
